I am a new client. How do I sign up for your services?

Thank you for your interest in Bucky’s Turf! If you are new to us, please fill out The New Client Registration Form. Link on homepage. Once the form is complete, we will contact you through your preferred contact.

Do you do meet and greet?

Yes we do! Please text us at 619-985-6514 to schedule your appointment. We are more than happy to make new friends. What you can expect in a meet-and-greet session: 1) a brief tour for the parents; 2) if needed, some private play time for shy dogs to get acclimated to the new environment; 3) introducing Bucky and Becky; 4) conversation about how we can help.

What’s your vaccination requirement?

We require all dogs on premise to have the following shots:

Rabies

Bordetella

DPP

All of your pets must have those shots up-to-date and a legible veterinary record for proof. We cannot accept pets that have expired vaccinations.

Do you take unfixed pets?

We require that dogs more than seven(7) months old be spayed or neutered for daycare and boarding.

What do you mean by “kennel-free”?

Your pet(s) can roam around our house and yard freely most of the time. However, on occasions, we deploy fencing panels to separate animals to make sure everybody can eat well, play nicely, and relax.

What should I pack for my pets’ stay?

We have a detailed packing list here. :-)

Is there a late pickup fee?

Daycare- $15.00 an hour starting at 20 minutes past scheduled pick up time.

Grooming- $20.00 an hour starting at, 2 hours after I call/text to tell you that your pet is ready or 5:00pm whichever comes first.

Boarding- $27.50 up to 12 hours, $55 after 12 hours, starting at 20 minutes past scheduled pick up time.

Before 7am and after 10pm add $20.00

If I do not wish you to feed my pets, do I still need to fill out the feeding information and allergy information?

Allergy information is very important to us to keep your pets safe and healthy. Please let us know if your animal(s) has any special medical needs, including allergy information.

If you don’t wish us to feed any food to your animals, feeding information is not required. Your pets will have access to drinking water.

Do you provide any haircut or trimming services?

Unfortunately at this moment we don’t do scissor work at Bucky’s Turf. We are more than happy to give you referrals to great dog groomers if needed.
